Senior Pastor David Delaria
and his wife, Joie |
Senior Pastor
David A. Delaria was born in 1942 in Akron, Ohio, grew up there, graduated
from high school, and lived there for many years. He joined the U. S. Navy
in 1960, spent four years with them, which included a Mediterranean Cruise.
(This was not a vacation cruise.) While still in the Navy, he met and
married Betty Zinn, who is called "Joie" and is also from Akron, nearly
forty-one years ago. They have two sons, five grandchildren and they are
uncle and aunt to many of our church families.
He worked
for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company until God literally called him to the
ministry. They packed up and moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1972. In
August of 1973, he was appointed pastor of the Church of God in Boulder
City, and then to Henderson in August of 1977.
Pastor
David has been a pastor for thirty years and pastor of Giving Life
Ministries for twenty-five years.

Associate Pastor John Bagwell
and
his wife, June |
Associate
Pastor John Bagwell was born in 1948 in southeast Missouri. Twelve years
later he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, graduated high school and joined the
U.S. Army. He served one year in Vietnam. In the last months of
service, he met June in Colorado Springs while she was on vacation at her
uncle's home. He was pastor of a local church there.
June, truly
a farm gal, was born and raised in Story City, Iowa, which is ten miles
north of Ames. She married Pastor John in 1970. They have two married
daughters, one son and four grandkids.
Pastor John
has done a multitude of jobs, mainly in the mortgage and financing industry.
They met Pastor Dave and Joie in Prescott, Arizona in 1972 and have been
with them ever since. John finally became full time Associate Pastor
in 1995 and serves as the Emergency Assistance Director. He enjoys
golf, fishing (not good at either) and most all sports.
June, being
from the farm, loves animals, gardening and mainly her grandchildren.
