The Ninth Annual Back to School Celebration is upon us. It will again be held at the Valley View Recreation Center on Harris Street in Morrell Park on Saturday August 21, 2010. Attached are some previous pictures of the event. It takes a lot of work, but it is well worth it. Over 1000 kids were assisted in 2009 with back-packs stuffed with school supplies. In addition, Gift Tags are adopted by donors who purchase clothing items for these kids who pre-sign. They include clothes to out-fit the children from head to toe, including the shoes.
Giving Life's part is to assist those who didn't pre-register. This year we hope to help a few hundred additional children and some of their families with 'new' clothes also.
